Tom Iannucci is President of
Cortex Applied Research Inc. Tom has advised many of North America's largest pension plans, and is a regular
speaker at pension conferences throughout North America. Tom assists pension plans in ensuring effective
governance and decision-making processes are in place, and in enhancing their risk management practices. He
also delivers tailored fiduciary education seminars and assists pension plans with their strategic and business
planning processes. Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Toronto, and an MBA from York
University.

Dr. John Por
is the founder and principal of Cortex Applied Research Inc. John advises pension plans on governance and
Board effectiveness, strategic planning, asset/liability management, fiduciary risk management and
education, and organizational issues. He is a regular speaker at industry conferences and seminars and
authored articles for various publications, including Plan Sponsor, Benefits and Compensation International,
the Wall Street Journal, the NAPPA (National Association of Pension Plan Attorneys) Report, the Canadian
Investment Review, Benefits Canada, and Benefits and Pension Monitor. Prior to founding Cortex, John was
National Partner with one of the largest global pension consulting firms.

Michael Long is Vice President
of Cortex Applied Research Inc. Michael works with Cortex's pension clients in developing governance policies,
conducting governance reviews and compliance audits, and in improving governance and decision-making practices.
Michael has over 12 years of experience in developing governance, policy, and risk management tools for boards
of financial institutions. Michael has his Law and MBA degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich
School of Business, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto. Michael is a member of the Law
Society of Upper Canada, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1996.
